Witcher 2 which meteorite sword

Is it worth upgrading the Witcher's steel sword? Should I wait until I get a better sword? I'm in chapter 2 right now. GuyNwah Ex-moderator 2 Apr 22, Morgora said:. GuyNwah said:. Yeah, good time to upgrade. I favor the triple red meteorite sword, because Bleeding is devastating against humans. The triple blue is a good sword too; Precise Hit and Disarm are great in brawls. But you can find a better brawler's sword later in this act or in Act 3. Okay, I'm going to give you some terrible spoilers Blue ores are better than red if you ask me.

So go to forge a brand new pure blue meterotite sword, with three blue ores do not mix the colors, you will have not so effective sword. This is a major spoiler: Spoiler I wouldn't care too much of the meteorite sword if I were you. In fact, on the Wyvern Island in the swamp, there's a pretty fine blade the best until Act 4, imo on a corpse. So you can fix it by doing a meteorite sword for a while, but then go run to the swamp and grab that awesome weapon. GuyNwah Ex-moderator 5 Apr 22, By "brawler's sword" I mean only that the sword is useful in group fights like the one in the slum warehouse.

There's no weapon actually called that. The triple red meteorite sword is especially vicious because it causes Bleeding. This is a useful and rare critical effect. Spoiler Bleeding is the only critical effect that the mutants in Act V and the Epilog are vulnerable to. GuyNwah Ex-moderator 7 Apr 22, No, you can't upgrade any of the special swords that are already in the game. Meteorite swords and rune swords work a little differently.

When you get a meteorite sword, the blacksmith forges a new sword for you from the meteorites. This sword is added to your inventory. It doesn't replace your steel sword. But if you are carrying two steel swords already, you will have to drop one. User Info: FastEddie User Info: seancoombes.

Depends on your build - if you're sign-heavy then blue, straight up swords then red, a mix or alchemy heavy yellow. Hows that post for a slice of fried gold? That was admittedly a lot of money, but the de Wett Family Gambling Trust Fund chipped in quite a chunk. Runes are for silver swords, make one up as soon as you get 3 runes. A helpful trick. When you enter the blacksmith menu where they show you what swords you can make, just drag and drop your ore on the ground, and buy your sword you want.

It will make the sword, use no ore since you dropped it, and still have your ore you can pick up after. Your first meteor sword you probably will be able to make is with 3 blue ore. Save 3 red ore so you can make your 2nd sword, which is better than the 3 blue ore. But make the blue ore sword since you can get it earlier. Use it until you can make the 3 red. Pick up and sell the ore after, you'll get a tad bit back from the drop trick. No need to keep it, you can't weld 2 swords at once lol.

The 5k jacket is very nice, get it when you can. Not really much else to save money for, the jacket and making up your swords is main priority. Sell off the expensive stuff and keep the cheap stuff to make potions don't sell your unique stuff which you will need to make mutagens. When in the inn, always box for a little extra mone, early on its a fast easy 25 money, then 50, etc.

Dice also if you want for extra money, if near a blacksmith always sell off your excess weapons you collect, so you can pick up more as you go and sell those. And yes group styles are most important because fighting 1 vs 1 isn't usually dangerous, what is dangerous is when 4 royal wyverns attack you at the same time. Aard and Igni very great also. Powered up Aard is great for stunning strong foes and 1 shot killing them either when stunned or knockdown.
